Dear HPSI Members and Friends:

As I begin my term as President, I want to personally welcome you to the 2011 - 2012 membership year of Hellenic Professional Society of Illinois! We are continuing into our 86th year of promoting professional, social, cultural and philanthropic events! Thank you for your continued support and for making 2010 a success. Looking forward, we are working on numerous events in addition to partnering with our fellow organizations the National Hellenic Museum, EuroCircle, Greek Media Club, Daily Frappe and IOCC to bring more value to our members.

We have a full calendar of events this year and invite you to renew your membership and take advantage of our offerings. See below for upcoming events which kick off this Friday, September 30 at our Fall Professional Networking Event and Scholarship Presentation at Greek Islands Chicago. We will have guest speaker Heraklia Karis from the Kirkland & Ellis Law Firm joining us.

I am also very excited to announce the launch of our new website, www.hpsi.org.

Visit our site to sign up for annual membership and events and network with other professionals in the community like never before. Create your own profile, add a profile photograph, attach your resume, join industry-specific groups and post in forums with other Hellenic professionals.

We've even done the hard work for you. All members from 2009 onward have had profiles created for them based on information provided during original signup. Look for an email message coming soon to access your profile. Then login and update your profile information.

Congratulations to our new Officers and Board of Directors for the 2011-2012 year.
